“Probably the best tour we ever booked. Nike our hostess, was fantastic. We were picked up by Oliver and driven to a family farm. There they had vegetable gardens and chickens. Picked and collected fresh items and then cooked a fabulous lunch. Hands on cooking. So welcoming. The meal from fresh bread to fresh pasta, chicken, salad, family made Olive oil and the best wine ever. Highly recommend this tour”

“We were picked up just outside the city walls and taken to a beautiful farm that has been in the same family for 15 generations. The mom and daughter instructors were very friendly and informative. We gathered vegetables, eggs and milked a goat and then prepared a delicious dinner with what we harvested. We also made our own bread. It was a wonderful time and we learned a lot from our gracious hosts about Croatian culture and food. Highly recommend!”

“We had an amazing time meeting people from all over the world and having a great laugh with them, the painting we took part in was so much fun even though we aren’t so artistic ourselves, we had a great time laughing about it with everyone. The hosts were fantastic, gave us great tips on how to get the best result on our tote bags, and were very attentive to us when we were low on drinks! The charcuterie provided was delicious as we got to try local meats and cheeses and bread.”

Meet Florio at OPG Vukojević in Mokošica for a hands-on look at peka, Croatia’s coal-covered bell oven. Watch meat and vegetables cook slowly, taste homemade bread, cheese, olive oil, wine, and grappa, and share lunch in a private group of up to eight.

“If you want to get to a really authentic out-of-the-way place in the hills near Dubrovnik for a delicious meal cooked in the traditional way with oak fire, hot bricks and iron bell cooking pot, do this. Yes, it's a bit pricey but wow for the food and for the scenic views. The restaurant is a converted railway station and along the way you will see lots of bunkers left over from the war, and the driver will be happy to tell the stories from times past.”
